Find the right drape

Job, cloth, fullness, finish and size - a quote-ready spec

Start with what the drape has to do and the selector walks you through the options the way our makers would - drape type, fabric, colour, fullness, top finish and size. The fire rating comes with the fabric, the estimated rigging weight comes with the size, and you finish with a specification our Preston workshop can quote. No pricing, no email gate.

Configure your drape

Answer a few questions and we narrow the options

You will see the drapes most commonly used for that application - masking, house curtains, cycloramas, scrims and backdrops. If you are unsure about any option, use the information markers along the way. Every specification is reviewed by our machinists before quotation to confirm sizing, fabrication details and fire-rating requirements.

Need something more than a single drape? Designing a complete curtain system? Planning a motorised track installation? Looking for custom scenic or printed drapes? That is where the makers come in. Send us the brief or call 1300 439 872.

Configured spec

Request a quote

No pricing in the tool - we quote on the configured spec, the same way we would a phone call. The button below copies your spec and opens the contact page: paste it into the enquiry form with your name and venue, and the Preston team takes it from there.

  • Your spec travels with you. It is copied to your clipboard on the way through - paste it straight into the message field.
  • Reviewed by the makers. Sizing, seaming and the fire rating are confirmed before anything is cut.
  • Tracks and rigging too. Mention the hardware in your enquiry - tracks, motors and fly systems are engineered by Theatre Safe Australia, our parent company.
