About Reveal Productions

Reveal began in Fairfield in 2001, starting as a small drapery workshop — at one point even running out of Sean’s lounge room. The vision was simple: create high-quality theatre drapes, made locally, that balanced artistry, compliance, and durability.

By 2006, Reveal had outgrown its Fairfield shopfront and moved to Preston — an emerging hub for entertainment logistics. The larger space allowed the team to take on more installations, upholstery, and custom work, keeping pace with the needs of a growing client base.

Continued growth meant Reveal once again ran out of room. In 2010, the business moved into a bigger Preston facility to accommodate larger projects, a growing hire inventory, and increased demand for servicing. Each move reflected Reveal’s commitment to keeping up with the industry’s needs.

Reveal consolidated into a new, larger workshop designed for future growth. This move created space for bigger scenic builds, hire stock, and ongoing servicing, setting the stage for Reveal to handle projects at a national scale.

In 2023, Reveal was acquired by Theatre Safe Australia (TSA). This partnership combined Reveal’s boutique craftsmanship with TSA’s national resources, allowing the business to offer a broader range of services while staying true to its roots of care, compliance, and custom solutions.

Today, Reveal provides end-to-end drapery services — from design and manufacturing to installations, rentals, fire treatments, and maintenance. With every move and milestone, Reveal has grown by listening to the industry and evolving to meet its needs.
