Do you make everything in-house?

Mostly — our drapes, soft goods, and custom covers are sewn right here in Australia by our experienced fabrication team. Some specialised components, like track systems and hardware, are sourced from trusted international suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.

Can you create custom products for unique spaces?

Absolutely. Reveal specialises in made-to-measure products — whether it’s a custom track layout, a non-standard drape size, or a one-off cover for equipment. We’ll work with your measurements, drawings, or ideas to produce a fit-for-purpose solution.

Do your fabrics meet Australian safety standards?

Yes. All fabrics used by Reveal are tested and compliant with Australian flame-retardant standards. We also offer on-site FR treatment and certification if your existing drapes or scenic elements need retreatment.

Can you print on any type of fabric?

We offer printing on a range of FR-rated fabrics suited to backdrops, banners, and scenic artwork. Our team will recommend the best base fabric depending on how you plan to hang, light, or transport your backdrop.

What’s the difference between scrims, voile, and cycloramas?

  • Scrims create reveal effects using lighting (see-through when lit from behind, opaque when lit from the front).

  • Voile is a lightweight, semi-transparent fabric used for soft layering or gentle diffusion.

  • Cycloramas are solid, light-reflective surfaces ideal for projection, colour washes, or sky backdrops.

Do you hire products or only sell them?

Reveal focuses on sales and fabrication, but we work closely with our partners at Theatre Safe Australia (TSA) for hire and installation support. If you need short-term equipment, we can connect you directly.

How long do custom orders take?

Lead times depend on the product and current production schedule. Get in touch with us to find out more! 

Can you ship outside of Australia?

Yes — while most of our work is local, we regularly supply to venues, schools, and production companies across New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. We’ll arrange freight and ensure packaging keeps your products safe in transit.
