PRODUCT CARE, GENERAL ADVICE AND FIRE RETARDANCY INFORMATION

GENERAL ADVICE FOR ALL STAGE DRAPES

Take great care and treat with respect to ensure a long life for your drapes

• Keep in a dry area with as little moisture as possible

• Ensure liquids, food, drinks and other activities that may cause damage or soiling are restricted in stage areas

• Avoid wet spot cleaning as this could possibly cause water staining to some types of fabrics

• If drapes are cleaned using a water based process it will break down the flame retardant and the drapes will need to be retreated to meet safety standards

• Drapes may be dry-cleaned. Dry-cleaning is by definition, cleaning with solvents and little or no water. The combination of solvents and heat can be hard on fabrics. Perchlorethylene, the cleaning fluid used by most dry cleaners, is the most effective cleaner for most all types of fabrics

• All our fabrics are flame retarded under AS1530 standards to comply with BCA requirements. A certificate is available on request

THEATRE TRACK SYSTEM

To keep the track system in good condition use with respect and inspect on a regular basis to ensure working properly. Track with cord and pulley operation should have regular checks on tensioning system. Do not force the operation if it is not running freely.
